Dedicated to Preserving, Supporting & Growing the Independent Practice of Medicine.
The North Carolina Dermatology Independent Collaborative (NCIDC) is a group of independent physician practices dedicated to preserving, supporting and growing the independent practice of medicine. The collaborative aims to improve clinical quality, patient care and access to providers through initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, delivery and lower costs.
The NCIDC serves the Triangle area of North Carolina and offers a wide range of dermatology specialties including Dermatopathology, Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatologic surgery, Cosmetic Dermatology and more.
Through their participation in the NCIDC, member physician practices offer lower costs and more options for patients, while providing high-quality care from the same hometown doctors they know and trust. The NCIDC also provides an attractive alternative for other independent physician practices looking to maintain their independence in today's ever-changing healthcare industry.
The NCIDC creates market visibility for its members by connecting them with insurance providers, health systems, Accountable Care Organizations, patients and vendors, allowing them to develop strategic affiliations that would not be possible on their own. It is not only a viable option for independent physicians, but also an organization that recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit and encourages the sharing of intellectual capital among its members.
